Today was my mom’s birthday. She got her presents early in the morning (I got her a Guerlain perfume, some lush products and chocolates) and this evening we went out for dinner which we rarely do. My uncle also joined us.
If you have your own restaurant or you work in the food industrie you rather tend to not go out to other restaurant’s that much.
My parents are actually still out, but since my brother has school tomorrow I went home with him. Maybe that’s a chance for me to go to bed before 1 am. Even though I don’t really see that happen …
On other news, I bought a dress for my graduation. Well .. my mom bought it. It’s black, empire-like shaped with a touch of white. I also got some shoes, which are actually basic black pumps/high heels with some rhinestones on the side. They’re 9cm high but super comfortable. Well, they should be for the price! It was kinda funny, because it took me less than 30 minutes to decide what to buy. My mom didn’t really liked that because she thinks, there might be better options. We’re very different when it comes to shopping. I’m actually a very uncomplicated shopper. I ask myself to questions:
a) Do I like it?
b) Can I afford it?
If both are answered with yes, I’m buying it. If one is answered with no, I don’t.
Before we got out we actually prepared two poster’s for our 30 year anniversary of our restaurant in June.
That’s pretty much all I did today. Right now I’m actually just sitting on my bed listening to Fall Out Boy’s Greatest Hits CD.

These are a few things I plan on buying. It may stay on the “planning” though, because I have a lot of things coming up that require spending money.
- 01. A new moleskine weekly notebook. I’m such a sucker for stationary and agendas. I just feel like I need a new one, since my old one is falling apart.
- 02. Real Techniques Stippling Brush. They’re so hyped on youtube and blogger, so I really want to try them out. I never actually owned any kind of high-end brush nor really good ones. Just the regular cheap drugstore shit.
- 03. Real Techniques Core Collection. See above.
- 04. Nicki Minaj Roman Reloaded. I like her for some reason. After seeing Kingsley’s review I’m definitely buying this.
- 05. Korres Lip Butter Pomegranate. Not that I don’t already own enough lip care…
- 06. Topshop shirt. I love the colour and I’ve been looking for sleeveless shirts with collars, not particularly dressy ones, but I couldn’t find any in stores. Topshop has quite a lot I liked, but I figured this one is perfect for summer and also affordable.
